SALT LAKE CITY -- Last year a lot of Utahns were scrambling to get the H1N1 flu vaccine after a nationwide outbreak. But the Utah Department of Health says we shouldn't have the same problem this year.

"It's essentially morphed into basically the usual flu that we see on a seasonal basis," says department spokesman Tom Hudachko.

Hudachko says as far as they know, the "Swine Flu" virus hasn't changed at all and will be covered in the flu shot that people could get this fall. He also says there are no new novel viruses lurking in the community, like the H1N1 did last year.

But after last year's pandemic, and no threat this year, Hudachko worries people could revert back to not getting a shot.

"We always worry about what we call 'flu fatigue,' and that is people thinking that they don't need to get a vaccine for one reason or another," he says.

The department of health says all people should get the vaccine. Forty-nine people died last year from various strains of the flu, and over 1,000 were hospitalized.
