Abuja (dpa) - The wife of Nigeria's President Olusegun Obasanjo is to be buried next Sunday in her home state of Ogun, according to details released Monday by the Obasanjo family.
Stella Obasanjo died in a Spanish hospital Sunday while undergoing surgery. Her body is expected in Abuja later Monday.
According to a funeral programme released in Abuja Monday, there will be a funeral service Tuesday at the presidential villa where the body will lie-in-state until Wednesday.
The remains would then be moved on Thursday to Abeokuta, capital of the southwestern Ogun state.
A memorial service is to be held in her honour at the National Ecumenical Centre, Abuja before interment.
