(KSL News) -- Ogden police say a man beaten to death in his home was killed by his friend.
Police say Gene Richards was killed Friday in his trailer. When officers tried to question Richards' friend Allen Christian in connection with the death on Sunday, Christian wouldn't talk.
Investigators believed the man was the suspect.
When police returned to the house two hours later they found the man dead in his carport. Police say Christian hanged himself.
Although police aren't certain about the motive, they believe drugs were involved.
