(KSL News) -- A traffic stop on the Nevada side of Wendover led to a high speed chase in Utah.
A stolen Honda Civic heading east out of Wendover committed a traffic violation. The car sped away from police, and led officers and highway patrol troopers towards Salt Lake.
Two teenage males jumped out of their cars, and police followed them on foot. The two ran eight miles from their car, when a driver on I-80 called in the suspect's location by cell phone.
The two were transported to the Salt Lake County Juvinile detention center for further questioning.
