WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (AP) -- A 21-year-old man has admitted to shooting his brother to death on Friday night in West Valley City. That's according to a probable cause statement.

Court documents say 21-year-old Travis Tsosie admitted to grabbing his gun out of his bag and shooting his sibling. Tsosie allegedly shot his brother, 23-year-old Tyrone Tsosie, around eleven p.m. after the two got into a physical altercation at a West Valley City apartment complex.

Travis Tsosie is being held at the Salt Lake County jail on suspicion of first-degree murder. In 2003, Tsosie pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer.
