Dushanbe, 9 October: The woman who set off an explosive device in central Dushanbe tonight has died without regaining consciousness on the way to hospital. ITAR-TASS learnt this from the Tajik Interior Ministry. Investigators established the type of the explosive device - it was an RPG grenade. Bomb disposal experts found the grenade's fuse on the site.
According to updated information, a man was hurt in the blast - he suffered wounds to his leg.
The city's prosecutor Habibullo Vohidov refused to talk to reporters about the incident. Eyewitnesses are being questioned. Investigation is trying to establish the identity of the woman and the reasons for her actions.
