(KSL News) Utah Power customers could receive a huge refund if the state Committee of Consumer Services has its way.
The committee has asked state regulators to force PacifiCorp, Utah Power's parent company, to return more than 50 million dollars to Utah ratepayers. The committee says PacifiCorp charged more money from customers than was needed to pay income taxes.
PacifiCorp denies using any ratepayer money improperly.
