A car going the wrong way caused a four-car crash on Bangerter Highway early this morning. Authorities say drunk driving may be to blame.
They say a woman was headed south in the northbound lanes of Bangerter Highway at 4100 South, around 4:00 this morning. She crashed head-on with a van.
Then, as a result of that wreck, two other cars collided. Two people had to be extricated. Both were rushed to local hospitals.
Officials say it appears the woman had been drinking.
