PAGE, Ariz. (AP) -- A boating accident on Lake Powell has claimed the life of a Montana woman.

The National Park Service says 60-year-old Sylvia Rozon of Manhattan, Montana, died yesterday after sustaining injuries from a boat propeller.

Witnesses say Rozon slipped while helping anchor a houseboat as she attempted to move from a small boat to the back of a houseboat during windy weather.

Authorities say that when she slipped, Rozon fell directly into the propeller of the houseboat.

A medical helicopter was sent to the scene.

Rozon was flown to a Grand Junction, Colorado, hospital where she later died.
