LAS VEGAS -- The father of a missing Utah man says a two-day search for him in the Las Vegas area turned up no sightings.
Rolf Koecher says nearly 30 searchers from Utah, Nevada, and Arizona rode buses throughout the Las Vegas area Friday and Saturday, looking for Steven Koecher.

The searchers rode buses, visited homeless shelters, searched a swap meet and visited the Downtown Transit Center.
Although no sightings or reports of Steven Koecher were found, some local residents recognized the searchers due to media reports and took fliers to their friends, churches and other affiliations.
Steven Koecher, from St. George, was last seen in a suburb of Las Vegas in December.
