BLUFFDALE -- A mother in Bluffdale knows how to forget herself and care for others. We received several High 5 nominations outlining Penney Tucker's courage, her strength and the service she provides to her family each and every day.
Penney has six children, three with Down syndrome and other special needs. One of the nominations came from her daughter, Ashley, who says she's learned a lot from her mother.
"To deal with kids and be patient and just be a good person in general," Ashley says.
When we surprised Penney with our High 5, she said the children make it worth her effort. "The kids are amazing," she said. "I wouldn't trade it. All these guys help, too. I couldn't do it without their help. "
As part of the High 5, Penney received a gift basket from Les Schwab, with treats and a $100 gift certificate for services.
