(KSL News) -- Historic preservationists want to buy a Japanese internment camp in Utah's west desert.
The Topaz museum already owns more than 500 acres of the land used to house prisoners during World War II.
They are now trying to raise 250-thousand dollars to buy an additional 92 acres.
The 60th anniversary of the closing of the Topaz Camp is at the end of the month.
