OREM, Utah (AP) -- Utah County residents have a place where yard waste is welcome, free of charge.
The Timpanogos Special Service District is accepting grass clippings and other yard waste from residents who are willing to bring it to the dump site in American Fork.
The waste is used for composting operations.
Residents who don't want to haul the waste themselves can also sign up for weekly or biweekly curbside green waste pickup. The green waste is put in a separate container and collected on residents' usual garbage day.
