SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A St. Louis-based company has bought the naming rights to a children's portrait studio that was based in Utah before going out of business.
Kiddie Kandids operations are opening up again at several Salt Lake City area malls.
CPI Corp. purchased the right to use the Kiddie Kandids name for photo studios in 134 Babies R Us and mall locations. Six of the sites are in Utah.
CPI says the deal includes the purchase of the Kiddie Kandids tradename, customer lists, studio and lab equipment, inventory and the former corporate building.
