SALT LAKE CITY -- Strong storms hit parts of northern and southern Utah, uprooting trees and damaging buildings.
In Ogden, strong winds uprooted large trees and tossed them onto the sidewalk or the top of several houses and a car. Winds also broke fences apart and spread pieces through the yard.
Residents of Farmington and throughout Davis County say they have felt high winds most of the day.
Residents in Hurricane had a storm of their own to deal with. Rain and hail came down quickly, flooding some streets. A couple of homes had water damage, but no injuries were reported.
Hail ranging in size from a quarter-inch to a half-inch in diameter were reported.
Several people even reported seeing several funnel clouds.
