(KSL News) A man who shot another man in the leg on the east side of Salt Lake is on the run this morning.

Salt Lake County Sheriff's authorities say two men -- both in their 20's -- got into an argument early this morning. The suspect pulled out a gun and started running away, and the other man chased him.
Lt. Chris Bertram/Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office: "The suspect was running eastbound up the street and was discharging the firearm underhanded as he ran away from the actual victim."
The suspect fired at least three rounds from a nine millimeter handgun. Two of the bullets shot into the ground, and one hit the other man in the leg.
The victim is expected to be okay.
