(KSL News) -- Firefighters are taking on two separate wildfires along the Wasatch Front.
Flames started burning yesterday afternoon in Puddle Valley. It's on the west side of the Great Salt Lake. The blaze charred about 3000 acres and is 20- percent contained.
The other fire is on Lake Mountain, on the west side of Utah Lake. Flames burned about 550 acres, and crews hope to contain the blaze around 5 tonight.
Rain helped crews control the blaze, and they've re-opened S-R 68. Right now, fire crews say no buildings are threatened. Officials don't know what sparked it.
