SALT LAKE CITY -- A 3-year-old girl nearly drowned in a Salt Lake City pool Saturday afternoon.

Witnesses say the girl was playing at the pool at an apartment complex near 1400 South and West Temple with some cousins.

Somehow she ended up in the water.

"I was looking at my daughter playing in the pool and looked over and seen the baby just floating in the water. She wasn't moving," said neighbor Chavonn Ruff. "So I just started screaming, 'Who baby? Who baby is that? Somebody get that baby out of the water.'"

Several people at the pool jumped in and pulled the girl out. One woman began CPR, while another called 911.

The neighbors were able to revive the girl.
