ST. GEORGE -- The president of the new LDS temple in Draper has died. President Donald Staheli died of cancer Saturday at his St. George home.
Born in 1931, Staheli spent much of his working life as president and CEO of Continental Grain. He later served more than nine years in the church's Second Quorum of the Seventy.
Staheli left the post to become president of the new Draper temple last year.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
