Officer Arrests Two Wanted People

(KSL News) Two people are behind bars this morning. Both had outstanding warrants for their arrest.

A Salt Lake City police officer noticed a pick up truck on the east side of Salt Lake City early this morning. When the driver saw the officer, he turned off his lights and sped off.

Officer Arrests Two Wanted People

A few minutes later the officer noticed the same car in an alley. He approached the car and discovered the two people inside were wanted.

The man is accused of assaulting a correctional officer and the woman was wanted for parole violation.

The couple now faces additional charges because they had meth in the car and they lied to the officer about who they were.
