WEST VALLEY CITY -- Police released the identity of a woman killed in a car accident Monday morning.
Investigators say Tiffany Lopez of West Jordan died when her car drifted into oncoming traffic at 4600 South and 5600 West around 6:50 a.m.
Her car struck a pickup truck. She died at the scene. The driver of the truck was not seriously injured.
Officers tell the Salt Lake Tribune it doesn't appear Lopez stepped on the car's brake before the crash. They think she may have fallen asleep.
