(KSL News) -- The annual Pennies by the Inch fundraising drive kicked off today with help from the University of Utah's Crimson Line and Ute football star Eric Weddle.
Eric Weddle, University of Utah Football Star: "I'm happy to be here and happy to spend time with the kids, just to get back to what they do. They have a hard time just living life, and anything you can give back to the kids is something we should all try to do."
The annual drive raises funds for patients at Primary Children's Medical Center and began way back in 1922 when the hospital first opened.
