Riverton High School cleared following bomb threat

RIVERTON -- One person is in police custody suspected of making a bomb threat at Riverton High School.

School officials found the threat Thursday afternoon just after school was dismissed.

Unified police officers, fire crews, and several police dogs were called to the scene and searched the building until 10 p.m. They did not find any explosives.

Police have not released any information about the suspect.

Classes are being held as usual Friday.
