(KSL News) -- UHP troopers had a busy night with two chases across the valley.
In one case, a trooper tried to pull over a driver for having expired tags. He took off, leading the trooper through an industrial area in Salt Lake. He lost control and went into a ditch.
The driver, who was recently paroled, took off running. Police were able to track him down and arrest him.
A woman in the car was injured in the crash. She was treated and also faces charges.
Another man faces jail time for doing the same thing. A trooper attempted to pull a car over last night because the license plate light was out. The man inside had a warrant out for his arrest and didn't want to go to jail. He led police through South Salt Lake.
Police spiked his tires twice, forcing the man to stop, but they still had to taser him to take him into custody.
