SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A man who shot at three police officers and a private citizen during a chase has been sent to prison.
Thirty-nine-year-old Brian Lee Wood has been sentenced to 18 years to life. He was convicted of six felonies for the January sixth chase that began in Brigham City and ended in Ogden when his tires were blown by spikes.
Wood ran from authorities to avoid arrest on a warrant for a Davis County stabbing.
Luckily no one was injured.
