SALT LAKE CITY -- Two men are recovering after a fire sent smoke into their Salt Lake City home.

A neighbor noticed smoke coming from the attic of the home near 600 East and 1700 South around 11 p.m. and called authorities.

When crews arrived, flames were shooting through the roof. Firefighters knocked down the fire quickly.

Two men inside the home escaped but were taken to a hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.

No word on what caused the fire.
