KALAHEO, Hawaii (AP) -- Rescue crews are still searching for a Utah man who went missing while hiking in Kauai's Wailua Valley on Thursday.

Kauai fire spokeswoman Mary Daubert said Sunday that one team of rescue specialists and search dogs is scanning the upper end of the valley for 26-year-old Ryan Soper, while another team is looking for the man in the area above Wailua Falls in former sugar cane land.

Daubert says Soper is 5-foot-10 with blond hair and blue eyes and was wearing a black long-sleeved T-shirt and white board shorts when he disappeared.
