SPRINGVILLE -- A Springville couple is charged with embezzling thousands of dollars from a scrapbooking company.

Prosecutors tell the Daily Herald that Jon and Nicole Campbell stole approximately $130,000 from the company Close To My Heart in 2007.

Jon Campbell worked for the company as the IT director and allegedly created a separate business with his wife that he claimed was doing work for Close To My Heart.

He then made payments to their company for work that was never completed and spent the money on personal use.

Both face multiple felonies, including six counts of communication fraud and five counts of money laundering.
