The first Elizabeth Smart book hits local bookstores today.
It's called "Held Captive: the Kidnapping and Rescue of Elizabeth Smart." A New York Daily News reporter and a former New York Post editor co-wrote the 342-page book.
The Smart family has considered accepting movie and book deals so they can tell the events from their perspective.
