Salt Lake City, UT (USA) - Friday, April 9th, 2010 marks the debut of Utah's own Showdown Fights™ live from the McKay Event Center in Orem, Utah. In an epic battle for the "Bragging Rights" of Utah, UFC® veteran Josh "The People's Warrior" Burkman will face the fiercely crafty veteran Jake "The Snake" Paul. Many in Utah see Josh Burkman as the greatest fighter to come out of Utah. Jake Paul is looking to take what Josh has built to create his own legacy.
"Josh has become a prima donna," says Paul. "He was tough back in the day, but he's hit his peak and he's on his way down." Josh Burkman feels the night will go differently "If he thinks he gonna stand and trade, he's gonna get knocked out. He is just a local guy with limited skills who will never go anywhere".
