SALT LAKE CITY -- Changes are coming to UTA service this weekend.

Utah Transit Authority officials say because of reduced sales tax revenues, some express routes in Davis and Weber counties are being eliminated.

Some Saturday bus service in Salt Lake County is also going away.

Riders will also notice reduced trips on Frontrunner and TRAX trains to avoid low-ridership trips. And, seasonal service to ski resorts is ending this weekend.

UTA also is extending its service for Saturday's start of the General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

TRAX trains -- with extra cars -- will run every 10 minutes Saturday. FrontRunner trains run every 60 minutes.

On Sunday TRAX trains will leave every 20 minutes and there will be no FrontRunner service.
