SALT LAKE CITY -- A leaking gas valve caused the brief evacuation of an elementary school in Salt Lake City Thursday morning.
The valve was leaking next to Emerson Elementary near 1000 East and Harrison Avenue.
Students were evacuated around 8:20 a.m. but were allowed to return to class about 20 minutes later after Questar crews fixed the leak.
