HANGIN’ WITH AYO & TEO — At this point, it’s safe to say BYU is having a really good year — at mascoting.

Some might argue Cosmo is having the most successful year on campus, and while we won’t undercut the achievements of any Division I athlete, he’s making a pretty good argument.

Keep reading for the Cougars' latest viral moment, as well as a buzzer-beater from a former local prep basketball player. As always, click the video above for each of our Great Clips of the Week.

Cosmo keeps it real

First, Cosmo and the Cougarettes went viral with their moves during a timeout break during the BYU football season.

Then, when the Oregon Duck challenged Cosmo to a dance-off, the smooth mascot duo put the nation on notice at ESPN’s Espy awards show with a smart compilation.

On Saturday night, during the BYU basketball team’s 77-65 home win over Pacific, the Cougar did it again — by bringing it right back to where he started, with an assist from hip-hop stars Ayo and Teo.

Yep; he’s still got it.

To quote an unnamed media source during the game: it was lit.

Brown beats buzzer, with assist from Orem High

Former Orem High hoopster Zach Hunsaker has had plenty of memories on the basketball court.

He made a big one Friday night at Brown.

With seven seconds left in regulation of a tie game against Dartmouth, the 6-foot-2 Brown guard took the ball and streaked down the right side of the court. Hunsaker, one of three captains who finished with 12 points, cut inside and dropped in a layup at the buzzer that gave Brown (9-7, 2-1) a 64-62 win over its Ivy League rival.

Tough crowds start young

Philadelphia sports fans are well-known, far and wide, for showing tough love — even to their own team.

So what happens when the Eagles make the nation’s premiere sporting event, the Super Bowl?

They put out a hit on Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

Happy Super Bowl week, everyone. We’ve got six more days of this stuff.
