SUPER BOWL BOUND — You’ve probably heard by now, but the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons will meet in Houston for Super Bowl LI in two weeks.

If you hadn’t heard, we’re sorry to break the news to you.

Here are a few of our favorite moments from two snooze-fest conference championships that lead into the big game.

Flop-lanta

Yeah, we get it, Atlanta: you routed the Green Bay Packers, 44-21 in the NFC championship.

Falcons cornerback Robert Alford made a bigger show of it than he needed to — at least when he was bumped by Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

If this were soccer, Alford’s offense would be an obvious yellow card.

So, Falcons owner thinks he can dance?

Falcons owner Arthur Blank showed his moves following Atlanta’s win that sent the team to its first Super Bowl since 1999.

Warning, though: the scene below could be considered offensive by fans of real dancing.

For context, Blank owns Home Depot, which is doing well, and his recently acquired Atlanta United FC will begin play in Major League Soccer this spring.

So he has multiple reasons to celebrate.

Rudy gets baptized

Do you remember Rudy?

Not just the movie but the man, former Notre Dame football walk-on and eternal inspiration Rudy Ruettiger, set the stage for arguably the greatest sports movie in modern history. It taught millions of people how to overcome adversity and work to fulfill their dreams.

If you need a refresher, we’ll wait.

Ruettiger was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Saturday, a process that reportedly began when he attended a BYU football fireside in 2013 prior to the Cougars’ game at Notre Dame.

Congratulations, Rudy; we’ll see you at LaVell Edwards Stadium this fall?

Siena coach shakes hands when players aren’t there

This one’s a little older, but it’s too good not to share.

In a particularly chippy game of college basketball, Rider coach Kevin Baggett ordered his team leave its game with Siena before the two teams could shake hands.

Siena coach Jimmy Patsos wouldn’t have the non-postgame handshake, so he did it — with invisible players the whole time. There was no ill will between both teams, and it gave us another great moment in college basketball this season.
