Spicy Road Trip Snack Mix

Makes about 25 cups

Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups Rice Chex (3.5 ounces)
3 1/2 cups Wheat Chex (5.5 ounces)
3 1/2 cups Corn Chex (3.5 ounces)
7 1/2 ounces Cheerios
4 1/2 ounces thin pretzels
6 ounces Spanish peanuts
2 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon bacon grease
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
1 tablespoon hot sauce, such as Tabasco
1/2 teaspoon chili powder (with salt)

Instructions:
In a large roasting pan, add the cereals, pretzels and peanuts and set aside.

Melt together the bacon grease, butter and Tabasco and stir into the dry ingredients. Sprinkle on the chili powder and stir again. Bake in a preheated 200 degrees oven for 2 hours, stirring every 20 minutes.
