WASHINGTON (AP) — D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera scored 24 points, moving into sixth place on Georgetown's all-time scoring list, and the Hoyas crushed St. John's 92-67 on Monday night.

It was St. John's 15th straight loss, the longest streak in Division I.

Smith-Rivera passed David Wingate (1,781) on the Hoyas scoring list. He became the only Georgetown player to ever score over 1,000 points in league games.

Isaac Copeland had 23 points and eight rebounds for the Hoyas (14-11, 7-5 Big East). L.J. Peak had 20 points off the bench, giving him double digits in seven straight, while Reggie Cameron added 12. Georgetown shot over 54 percent and outrebounded St. John's 40-27.

St. John's (7-18, 0-12) was led by Christian Jones with 14 points and nine rebounds. Kassoum Yakwe added 12 points.

Georgetown controlled the game from the beginning. Smith-Rivera scored the first eight points for the Hoyas — including a pair of 3-pointers — as they raced out to an 18-8 lead. The Hoyas led by 16 at intermission and cruised through the second half.
