EVANSTON, Ill. (AP) — Former Indiana quarterback Peyton Ramsey has transferred to Northwestern, giving the Wildcats another option behind center after they struggled offensively last season. Northwestern also announced punter Derek Adams had joined the team. Ramsey and Adams are eligible to play this season as graduate transfers. Ramsey made 23 starts and appeared in 32 games overall in three seasons with the Hoosiers. He passed for 6,581 yards and 42 touchdowns and rushed for 832 yards and 14 TDs.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — Three attorneys have been appointed to look out for the interests of anyone who said they were sexually abused by a sports doctor who worked at the University of Michigan for decades. A federal judge on Tuesday ordered the appointments of E. Powell Miller, Annika Martin and Joseph Sauder as interim class counsel in lawsuits against the Ann Arbor school and its board of regents. Their firms filed a class-action complaint March 9. Campus police began looking into Robert Anderson in 2018 after a former student-athlete said he was sexually abused by Anderson during medical exams in the early 1970s. Anderson died in 2008.
