PITTSBURGH (AP) — Zion Williamson hit his first 10 shots on his way to 25 points, fellow freshman RJ Barrett scored 26 and No. 2 Duke had little trouble with Pittsburgh in a 79-64 victory. Williamson finished 11 of 13 from the floor to go with seven rebounds and seven assists for the Blue Devils (16-2, 5-1 Atlantic Coast Conference), who kept the Panthers (12-7, 2-4) in check even without injured freshman guard Tre Jones.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) — Kyle Guy and Jay Huff scored 12 points each, and No. 3 Virginia opened with a 25-3 run in a 68-45 victory against Wake Forest. De'Andre Hunter and Mamadi Diakite had 11 points each for the Cavaliers, who bounced back from a 72-70 loss at No. 2 Duke on Saturday. The victory was Virginia's seventh in a row in the series against Wake Forest and their 12th in a row overall at John Paul Jones Arena.

ATLANTA (AP) — Abdoulaye Gueye had a huge putback with 52 seconds left, Jose Alvarado hit two clutch free throws and Georgia Tech held off Notre Dame for a 63-61 victory in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Alvarado and James Banks III scored 16 points apiece to lead the Yellow Jackets, who snapped a two-game losing streak. Notre Dame lost for its third in a row despite another bit game from John Mooney, who had 22 points and 14 rebounds.

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) — Will Grier became a star quarterback at West Virginia, but knows NFL teams also want his take on what happened at Florida. Grier received a yearlong suspension in 2015 as a redshirt freshman for violating the NCAA's policy on performance-enhancing drugs.

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — North Carolina State coach Kevin Keatts remains unsure when injured point guard Markell Johnson will return to the 21st-ranked Wolfpack. Keatts says Johnson "could play on Thursday or could play three or four weeks from now." The coach also says Johnson won't play "until mentally and physically he feels like he's ready." Johnson has missed two games with soreness in his left hip and back after taking a hard fall two weeks ago against Pittsburgh.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) — When 6-foot-4 Jessica Shepard and 6-foot-3 Brianna Turner get their hands on a rebound, good things generally happen for No. 1 Notre Dame. The two forwards have 11 double-doubles between them this season. The Fighting Irish take an 11-game winning streak to play struggling Tennessee on Thursday night.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Mfiondu Kabengele scored 12 of his 17 points in the second half and David Nichols added 16 points as Florida State halted a three-game slide with a 77-68 win over Clemson. Nichols made four 3-pointers for the Seminoles (14-5, 2-4 Atlantic Coast Conference).
