SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah (AP) — The South Salt Lake Police Department has identified the victim in a fatal stabbing as a 26-year-old Salt Lake City woman.

Police previously said the killing of Ashley Vigil appeared to be a domestic incident.

Police said 24-year-old Angelo Terry Kirstine was jailed on suspicion of murder.

Court records don't show a defense attorney for Kirstine who could comment on the allegation.
