SANDPOINT, Idaho (AP) — A Northern Idaho woman has been charged in connection with a crash last month that killed one daughter and seriously injured another.

Brittney Bullock is charged in Bonner County Magistrate Court with vehicular manslaughter, injury to a child and other charges.

The Bonner County Daily Bee reports (https://goo.gl/rUW9NY) that 6-year-old Adilynn Johnson was thrown from the wreck and died of her injuries. Her 11-year-old sister suffered broken ribs and other injuries.

An Idaho State Police trooper's affidavit says Bullock, of Bayview, was driving Sept. 6 when she lost control, slid off the paved, wet roadway and crashed into trees.

Bullock reportedly told a trooper that she was looking at her 11-year-old daughter in the front passenger seat just before losing control of the car. She also told the trooper her children are usually in safety restraints and that she was driving 25 to 30 mph.
