PRAGUE (AP) — Sparta Prague has fired coach Zdenek Scasny after a 2-0 loss to archrival Slavia Prague in the Czech premier league.

The move happened on Monday, one day after Sparta's first loss to Slavia at home since 2008. Angry Sparta fans invaded the field after the game.

Scasny took over in April 2015 and led Sparta to the quarterfinals of Europa League last season but failed to win the Czech title and qualify for the Champions League.

It is not immediately clear who will replace Scasny.

Sparta hosts Inter Milan in the Europa League on Thursday.
