The brown trout is not native to Utah, nor is it native to North America. Browns were widely introduced into North America, South America, Australia, New Zealand and many other countries in the late 1800's. The first stocking of brown trout in the US occurred in 1884 in Michigan.
Our Burt Brothers quiz question is...Can you name the Michigan River that was the first place to have brown trout stocked?
Once you find the answer, find KSL Outdoors on Facebook, look for our contest link, click it, give us the correct Michigan River and you'll be entered to win a Switch 8 Solar Kit from our friends at Goal Zero.
