Outlook
Thursday will look and feel very similar to Wednesday. Morning lows will be in the mid to upper 20s and afternoon highs will be in the mid 40s. Air quality will continue to worsen with majority of the Wasatch Front with air quality in the "Unhealthy for Sensitive Individuals" level and a few spots just outright unhealthy. We're hoping that some cooler air moving into the mid to upper levels of the atmosphere on Friday will help mix out some of the bad air. It likely won't flush out the air fully. Quiet, mostly sunny weather will continue through the weekend and the first half of next week with highs gradually warming in the mid to upper 40s. We're keeping our eye on the potential for a storm to come through Thursday/Friday next week. If this comes into fruition, this would flush out the bad air and would hopefully bring some snow to our mountains. All the finer details like the storms path, strength, and timing are still uncertain this far out. - Devan Masciulli, KSL Weather 1.14.26
