SALT LAKE CITY — Alex Smith helped the Chiefs to a 26-10 victory over division rival Oakland Sunday, setting a Chiefs record for completion percentage with 86.4 percent. Smith's 91.1 quarterback rating is the highest of his career, and with his play the Chiefs are beginning to look like a viable contender in the AFC West's division title race.

BYU

  • Ezekiel Ansah: Detroit Lions, defensive end — In his return to play after injury (ankle), Ansah had one tackle in the Lions' win over Los Angeles, 31-28.

  • Alani Fua: Arizona Cardinals, linebacker — Injured reserve (IR), did not play (DNP).

  • Bronson Kaufusi: Baltimore Ravens, defensive end — IR (ankle), out for remainder of season.

  • Paul Lasike: Chicago Bears, fullback — Carried the ball one time for a yard in Chicago's loss to Jacksonville.

  • Dennis Pitta: Baltimore Ravens, tight end — Pitta caught six passes for 36 yards, but it wasn't enough, as Baltimore fell to the Giants 27-23.

  • Daniel Sorensen: Kansas City Chiefs, defensive back — Sorensen recorded six tackles in the Chiefs' win over Oakland.

  • Uani' Unga: New York Giants, linebacker — IR, DNP

  • Kyle Van Noy: Detroit Lions, linebacker — Van Noy recorded five tackles in the Lions' win.

Utah

  • Matt Asiata: Minnesota Vikings, running back — Asiata and the undefeated Vikings had the week off, and prepare to face Philadelphia this coming Sunday.

  • Devontae Booker: Denver Broncos, running back — Booker was the Broncos' leading rusher in the loss to San Diego, carrying the ball five times for 46 yards. Booker also caught two passes for 7 yards.

  • Paul Kruger: New Orleans Saints, defensive end — Kruger had two tackles and a pass deflection in the Saints' win over Carolina, 41-38.

  • Star Lotulelei: Carolina Panthers, defensive tackle — Lotulelei did not record a stat in the Panthers' loss to New Orleans.

  • Brice McCain: Tennessee Titans, cornerback — McCain had two tackles for the Titans in their win over Cleveland, 28-26.

  • Keith McGill: Oakland Raiders, defensive back — McGill had one tackle in Oakland's loss to Kansas City.

  • Koa Misi: Miami Dolphins, linebacker — Misi (neck) was placed on IR by the Dolphins and is likely to miss the rest of the season. NFL.com is also reporting that his neck injury could spell the end of his career.

  • Jared Norris: Carolina Panthers, linebacker — Norris did not record a stat in Carolina's loss to New Orleans.

  • Nate Orchard: Cleveland Browns, linebacker — IR, DNP.

  • Tenny Palepoi: San Diego Chargers, defensive tackle — Palepoi did not record a stat in the Chargers' win over Denver, but did help to pressure Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian.

  • Eric Rowe: New England Patriots, defensive back — In his debut for the Patriots, Rowe recorded a tackle and a pass deflection, helping the Patriots beat Cincinnati 35-17.

  • Derrick Shelby: Atlanta Falcons, defensive end — Shelby recorded a tackle for loss in Atlanta's loss to Seattle.

  • Sean Smith: Oakland Raiders, cornerback — Smith recorded three tackles in the Raiders' loss to Kansas City.

  • Steve Smith Sr.: Baltimore Ravens, wide receiver — Smith was listed as inactive for the Ravens in their loss to the Giants after suffering an ankle injury the previous week.

  • Paul Soliai: Carolina Panthers, defensive tackle — Soliai did not play versus New Orleans after suffering a foot injury.

  • Eric Weddle: Baltimore Ravens, safety — After being named the NFL's top-rated safety by Pro Football Focus earlier this week, Weddle played a fantastic game in a losing effort to the Giants, recording seven tackles and forcing a fumble.

Utah State

  • Maurice Alexander: Los Angeles Rams, safety — Recorded one tackle in the Rams' loss to Detroit.

  • Will Davis: Baltimore Ravens, cornerback — Davis had his coming-out party against the Giants this week, recording four tackles, a pass deflection and an interception.

  • Marwin Evans: Green Bay Packers, safety — Did not record a stat in the Packers' loss to Dallas.

  • Kyler Fackrell: Green Bay Packers, linebacker — Fackrell recorded a tackle in the Packers' loss.

  • Nevin Lawson: Detroit Lions, cornerback — Lawson recorded two tackles in the Lions' win over Los Angeles.

  • Robert Turbin: Indianapolis Colts, running back — Carried the ball three times for only 2 yards but figured more prominently in the pass game, catching four passes for 22 yards.

  • Nick Vigil: Cincinnati Bengals, linebacker — Did not record a stat in the Bengals' loss to the Patriots.

  • Bobby Wagner: Seattle Seahawks, linebacker — Wagner recorded 14 tackles, including a tackle for loss, in the Seahawks 26-24 victory over the surging Falcons.

Southern Utah

  • Miles Killebrew: Detroit Lions, safety — Did not record a stat in the Lions' win over Los Angeles.

  • LeShaun Sims: Tennessee Titans, cornerback — Did not record a stat in the Titans' win over Cleveland.
