SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz had about as small a chance as possible, and sure enough, they will stay at 14 for their first pick after Tuesday's Draft Lottery.

The Jazz had a .5 percent chance to win the lottery and .7 to move up to at least the Top-3 in the draft this year. With those small odds, it is no surprise they weren't able to make any leap.

A win in the draft could have secured them Trey Burke as their point guard for the future, or Ben McLemore, the athletic playmaker. However, they will have to wait for a player they believe can help them with the 14 and 21 pick.

This will be the third time the Jazz have picked 14th overall. The first was in 2004 when they selected Kris Humphries out of Minnesota. The last was 2006 when they took Ronnie Brewer our of Arkansas. Both players became contributors for NBA teams.

Last year, the 14th pick was John Henson out of North Carolina. While the 14th pick isn't known for star players, there has been a few great players picked there.

Tim Hardaway and Clyde Drexler headline the list. But there were plenty of good players in their time. Pedrag Stojakovic and Dan Majerle were solid as well.

The Cavaliers won the first pick, the Magic will have the second pick and the Wizards moved up to three. The Bobcats will pick at four after moving down.

The rest of the picks will be made based on record.
