LOS ANGELES (AP) — A 58-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to dozens of felonies after a raid at a Los Angeles mansion uncovered more than 1,000 guns.

Los Angeles County prosecutors say Girard Saenz was charged Monday with 64 charges including 23 counts of possession of an assault weapon.

It's unclear whether he has an attorney.

Saenz was arrested in May after authorities, acting on a tip about illegal firearms sales, searched a multimillion-dollar home on the border of Bel Air and Holmby Hills.

Authorities released photos showing stacks of rifles, handguns and shotguns laid out in the driveway.

The Los Angeles Times cited records that identify Saenz as the longtime companion of real estate mogul Cynthia Beck, who owns the property.
