PROVO, Utah (AP) — Police are identifying a 95-year-old man killed when he was hit by a car in Spanish Fork.

Police Lt. Matt Johnson tells the Daily Herald newspaper in Provo (http://bit.ly/2jofddE) that Ralph H. Andrus was walking across the road at 700 North and Main Street on Monday evening when he was hit by a car going about 40 mph.

Andrus was taken to a hospital where he died of his injuries.
