NEW YORK (AP) — A combination of steam and the lights atop 1 World Trade Center had some people concerned that smoke was rising from the tower.
But fire officials went on Twitter on Tuesday night to assure everyone there was no fire atop the building in lower Manhattan.
The steam emitting from the rooftop got lots of attention on social media Tuesday night.
Officials said steam from an HVAC unit combined with lights gave the illusion of a fire.
