ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — The mother of an 11-year-old boy accused of strangling a 4-year-old boy has told authorities that he had a history of disturbing behavior.

The mother said the past problems included choking another child until the child turned blue in the face and carrying around dead farm animals.

The mother's comments to police were detailed in an arrest report for the 11-year-old boy. The report was obtained by The Associated Press on Wednesday.

Authorities say deputies found the 4-year-old boy unresponsive in his mobile home on Monday in Palatka in north Florida. He died a day later. The arrest report says he had "some suspicious bruises" on his neck and there was evidence of strangulation.

Investigators didn't immediately have a motive for the attack.
