ONTARIO, Ore. (AP) — An Idaho man has been struck and killed by a train in Ontario, Ore.
The Ontario Argus Observer reports (http://is.gd/eJWTso) the death happened early Sunday morning.
Police officers report hearing a westbound Union Pacific train start the emergency braking process about 2:45 a.m.
They went the area, and the conductor reported he had hit a person.
Police found and pronounced 35-year-old Joel Guerrero of Pocatello dead at the scene.
Police and the railroad continue to investigate.
